Brittney McClellan was born and raised in Bulverde, TX, where she began dancing at the age of three. Brittney attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, and received her B.A. in Dance with a concentration in Modern. During her time at Point Park, she had the opportunity to train under amazing teachers such as Garfield Lemonius, Kiesha Lalama, Ruben Graciani, and Judith Leifer-Bentz, and perform works by Mariah McLeod and Ron Tassone. She also performed at The American College Dance Association conference in 2015. After graduation, Brittney began dancing with METdance in Houston, Tx. During her three seasons with METdance, she had the honor of performing works by Katarzyna Skarpetowska, Camille A. Brown, Mario Zambrano, Rosie Herrera, Kiki Lucas, Dominic Walsh, Marlana Doyle and Steven Boyd. She was also able to travel to several different dance festivals around the United States including Green Box Arts Festival in Colorado, and Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in Massachusetts. Brittney moved to Fort Worth with her Husband in 2018, where she performed with imPULSE Dance Project during their 7th season.
Brittney is thrilled to join with Zion Dance Project for their fourth season, and looks forward to growing alongside the company!
