WHAT TO EXPECT

This summer we are inviting applications for our first ever choreographic residency program during this year's Summer Series. This unique residency will provide residents studio space and rehearsal time to research and develop a new work in a supportive, Spirit-filled environment over the course of the program. The two weeks will conclude with a performance opportunity (in-person or video, TBD) where each of these new works will be presented.

Throughout the two weeks, Zion Dance Project will be offering residents the following:

  • Scheduled composition workshops and mentorship sessions with Vincent and Abigail Hardy

  • Insights into the company’s history, creative process and artistic structure

  • Access to equipment and resources such as costuming, rehearsal space, and video equipment

  • Speaker & Worship Sessions

Program totaling $250.

Choreographers may participate in technique classes of various styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern and hip hop, as well as be considered for casting of repertoire if interested.

Additional class/casting fee of $200.
