Melanie Breaux is a multidisciplinary dance and performance artist from West Palm Beach, Florida. Her training began at the age of three which soon led to her practice at the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. She is a 2020 graduate from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, receiving her BFA in Dance, under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfield, and a minor in Music Business, Entrepreneurship + Technology. Melanie has studied at the Centre National de la Danse in Paris, France where she had the pleasure of working with Daniel Condamine and Dominique Duszynsky. Melanie has performed in the works of Juel D. Lane, Gary Jeter, Christopher Huggins, Sidra Bell, Melissa Rector, Helen Simoneau, Maleek Washington, Kim Bears Bailey, and Katie Swords Thurman.
Melanie has recently moved to Dallas, Texas to join Zion Dance Project for their 2020-2021 season.
