“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

This piece was created to acknowledge and uplift the Indigenous people and their role as faithful stewards of the earth. It is an offering of both reverence and repentance for the wrongs committed against them — for the history of bloodshed and destruction of their ways and lands. We humbly seek to repent for the harm and to acknowledge their voices, which continue to carry profound wisdom and insight for the world, expressing God's heart and reflecting the Him as Creator in ways we have yet to fully comprehend.
